The doctor was very kind, caring, really patient and reassuring during the whole process and procedure. He explained everything in a way that I could understand it. He made sure that I was comfortable during the whole thing too. Always asking if I was ok. The doctor also asked if I wanted to look at my pelvis on the screen as well which nice and reassuring as I could also see that it was all ok.

I saw Mr. Hackett for the first time last week and was very impressed indeed. He listened to and seemed to be very interested in what I said. He was very gentle during the examination and gave me some good advice.

Mr Hackett was brilliant, he listened to me fully, wrote loads of notes down, explained a lot of things to me and was just genuinely a really nice man. I felt really comfortable talking with him. I came out of the appointment quite relieved and felt like it was promising to move to the next step. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. I didn’t feel rushed either during the appointment. He answered any questions for me and I didn’t feel silly asking them either. He is a brilliant man.

Not great at all! The worst thing for me was when he said ''you look so overweight you're infertile''. He had NO medical basis for this as I was not there for fertility and nor had I had any tests. As a 23 year old woman, the delivery of this was disgraceful and I worry as to why he thinks it's acceptable to make sweeping statements like that without any data or tests to support this. I was also left very uncomfortable after I told him that I didn't want to be on contraception anymore and his first response was ''condoms will change your sex life, have you checked this is okay with your boyfriend''. Constructive points - don't say these things! It was detrimental to my mental health and as a doctor with 20 years experience, I dread to think of how many people experienced this. There's a way to deliver a message of being overweight and recommending contraception but that was completely unacceptable and I will never be going back to him again.
